"Yours will be a happy future." Lucina whispered softly, gently brushing the the blue hair from the forehead of her sleeping infant self. It was done. Grima had been defeated. She was free.

With a sad smile she turned away, leaving the bedchamber. Within a a few minutes she was nearing the gates of Yilistol. Suddenly a familiar voice stopped her. "Lucina!"

The princess turned to see her aunt Lissa running towards her. "Where are you going?" Lissa asked. Lucina smiled weakly, "It is best I leave now. I have done what I needed to do. This is goodbye." Her aunt looked stunned, "Bu-but Lucina, what's stopping you from staying here?" Lucina grimaced, "I want the me of this time to have her parents, completely. She can't have that with me here. Tell my parents I said goodbye for me, will you?" Lissa whimpered slightly, clearly not happy, "All right Lucina. But if you ever need anything, you're always welcome here. Goodbye." Lucina smiled before giving her aunt a gentle hug, "Thank you. And I know." With that the princess released her aunt and turned to leave. As she exited the city she fingered Falchion's hilt, troubles running through her mind.

An hour later she neared a cliff over looking a fast moving river. She stood on the edge for a moment, deep in thought. She inched closer to the edge, until just the heels of her boots were on solid ground. With a laugh she turned, letting herself fall. "It's done. I'm free!"
