Chapter 1: The Accidental Reveal

Caitlyn Geller was on her way to yet another dance rehearsal. It was only the 1st week of camp this year but they were still working really hard. Caitlyn, Mitchie, Tess, Peggy, and Ella had decided that they were all going to preform together at Final Jam, so Caitlyn was going to have to attend all of the dance rehearsals to get ready for the big night.

She entered the studio to find all of her fellow campers already there. She walked up to Mitchie.

"Yo Mitchie! Am I late?"

"No, Caitlyn, you're not late. It's just that well, everyone else was early. Apparently Shane has something important to say." Mitchie smiled. She and Shane had been dating for a year now. Ever since the last day of Camp last year. Caitlyn was glad to see that her friend was really happy with Shane, but it was kinda weird. The other day, Caitlyn was sure that she heard Mitchie humming "Here Comes the Bride". And, she was almost certain that while she was walking by Shane's cabin the other day, she had heard him ask Nate "Which tux should I get married in?" Seriously weird.

Caitlyn had to admit she was a little jealous too. I mean, Mitchie and Shane, and Nate and Dana. She just wished that the boy of her dreams would like her too. She had fallen for the other member of Connect 3, Jason. She and Jason were friends and she didn't think that they would ever be more than that.

At that moment, Shane walked in.

"Hey Shane, what's up?" Mitchie asked him

"Well..." he said. He got down on one knee. "Marry me Mitchie. I love you. We've had our ups and downs. We've had our share of fights. I know that we've only been dating for one year, but I don't want to ever lose you."

Mitchie teared up. "Oh Shane! Of course I'll marry you!" So there was going to be a wedding. Perfect. Exactly what Caitlyn needed. Her best friend marrying Shane Gray. Brother to her crush. Lovely.

Nate and Dana were crying together. They were so sensitive.

She realized that she was frowning. Jason walked up to her. "Hey Caitlyn! What's up? Why do you look so upset?" How could he not know?

"Because! I like you! No, scratch that! I LOVE YOU! But you don't seem to care about me!" Jason looked stunned. That's when she realized that she'd revealed her secret crush. She burst out into tears and ran out of the rehersal room. She looked back at all her friends. They all looked shocked. This was so bad.

She ran back to her cabin and fell on to her bed. The last thing that she saw was Mitchie and Jason, then she blacked out.
