A/N: I was a bit disappointed by the end of Fyre (no offence to Angie Sage, she's brilliant), so because I anyway had to write this for school, I decided to post this on here ;)

If it seems confusing or disjointed, I apologize, that's me trying to write an epilogue Angie Sage-style.

Weddings, Reunions and Other Loose Ends

The Castle

The Castle settled back into what the older folk considered normal - that is, what was considered normal fourteen, almost fifteen years ago (before queen Cerys' assassination) - after Jenna's coronation.

She had restored everything the Supreme Custodian had taken or discontinued, and The Castle was again the center of commerce and trade in the west.

Syrah Syara and Septimus Heap

Syrah was getting better and better, she got help mostly from Septimus, who still came to visit her in the sick bay when he could. A few months later, Dandra Draa discharged her, with the proviso that she wouldn't stress herself or what was left of her Magyk for a month or two. She was released into the ExtraOrdinary Wizards care until she got the hang of this century and was strong enough to look after herself.

By the time Septimus finished his apprenticeship three years later, Syrah was strong enough to leave the shelter of the ExtraOrdinary apartments. She had lost most of her Magyk, but still retained enough knowledge and power to become an Ordinary Wizard. She got her own apartments on the sixth floor.

When Septimus was twenty-one (four years after he had finished his apprenticeship), Marcia stepped down as ExtraOrdinary apprentice and Septimus took her place.

Later that year, to the surprise of everyone except Beetle (who was still Septimus' best friend), and Marcia, who had seen what was developing between them during her apprentices' last few years, Septimus and Syrah married.

It was a small wedding, just friends and family, but turned out perfect. The day was beautiful, as all days just after the Thaw are, and ran smoothly without any interruptions or mistakes, even though Laryn, Lucy and Simons' eldest daughter, fell in a puddle at the dinner and ruined her dress.

Wolf Boy/ Mandy Marwick

Marwick, who had come to the Castle for Septimus' wedding, was reunited with his brothers at last. He stayed with them a week, and although they invited him to stay permanently, he was itching to go back to Keepers' Cottage.

Jenna Heap and O. Beetle Beetle

Jenna and Beetle's wedding two years later did not come as a shock to anyone, on the other hand. It was a lot bigger than Septimus and Syrah's as everyone wanted to celebrate with their queen on this glorious day.

Happily Ever After

Ten years later, the Castle was gritting its teeth with another generation of unruly Heaps: Simon and Lucy's six children – Laryn, Tara, Hayden, Kody, Thann and Jidd; Nicko and Snorri's son and daughter: Ocan and Dara; and Jenna and Beetle's children: crown princess Gael, Vivian, Adrianne and William.

The End.

Names: Simon and Lucy's kids' names I either made up or they were names I had heard before and liked. With Nicko and Snorri's kids' names, Ocan is ocean without the E and in Hebrew Dara means compassion or pearl of wisdom (pearls being found in the ocean). Jenna and Beetles' kids' have names that just always struck me as royal.
