A/N: I have no one to go see this move for a THIRD time with, so instead here is a quick one-shot to help me pass the time. :-)
Fifteen Days
Jane gasped. "Is this a dream?"
There Thor was, right in front of her, blue eyes piercing her soul through the twilight.
She looked around her. They seemed to be on a rainbow walkway, golden buildings gleaming in the distance, the roar of falling water below them, the darkening sky carpeted in brilliant constellations.
For a moment the magic of the place made Jane forget who she was with, until the man's large frame stepped closer. He put his arms around her, nearly swallowing her small form in his embrace.
She rested her head against his chest, drinking in his scent. After a moment she arched her head to look at him - by god, he was gorgeous. More so than she had even remembered.
"Thor," she said, and giggled. She supposed she would have to get used to calling him that.
"Jane Foster," he murmured, making her heart skip a beat and more. His face was close to hers now.
"When will I see you again?" She wrapped her fingers in his hair.
He planted a soft, warm kiss on her neck. Teasing.
"You see me now."
Jane couldn't stop - her hands travelled down his chest, abdomen, and between his thighs.
"But this isn't real," she whispered.
Now Thor kissed her full on the lips, hands pressing her pelvis against him.
"Does this not feel real?"
Vaguely Jane felt herself being undressed by deft fingers. Her own delicate hands crept underneath his shirt and felt the hard outline of his muscles, and another hard object made its presence known beneath his belt.
She felt herself being lifted and carried along the rainbow pathway, noting that all of her clothes were left behind in a small pile.
Thor found a wall and propped her against it, her legs secured around his waist.
He was holding her at eye-level now. That mouth, normally so hard to reach, was inches away, and Jane took full advantage.
She devoured his lips with her own, her whole body on fire and waiting for him, his hands all over her, their mingled breathing rugged -
Aching, heart thumping, Jane awoke.
"No, no, no," she pleaded into the darkness of her room, willing her dream to continue.
Within moments a sense of loss, and sadness, overtook her. It was just a dream, and the memory of it was rapidly fading.
She rose and walked to the single window in the room. Fifteen days, she thought, staring upwards. Fifteen days from now would occur yet another atmospheric disturbance not twenty miles from here, if her predictions remained correct.
Maybe she would see him again.
She had waited this long, she could wait another fifteen days.
Placated for the moment, she went back to bed and fell into a deep sleep, dreaming of the man she loved.
