I don't own Naruto. I own Mikomi.
Summary: Now we all know that Sasuke suggested a poem for the password in the forest of death. My story is what is behind the story. And how Sasuke knows it. NI hope you like it.
Chapter 1 :
Sasuke Uchiha walked to the Uchiha family grounds. He didn't go there on a daily basis, the sight of the graves made hi sick. However today was a special case. It was his old childhood friend's birthday. He walked up to a grave that sat outside one of the old Uchiha family houses.
"Happy birthday Mikomi." said Sasuke sadly. She was one of his friends, however she was about Itachi s age, when she died she had been a jounin. Sasuke remembered the poem that she had written in the thick of battle.
"We thrive in the chaos of the enemy tide,"
'She said that meant that we were at our best when we were fighting.'
"Quiet shinobi don't need dens to hide."
'And that meant that real shinobi could hide even in baron waste lands.'
"Our only concern is to watch and wait."
'Real shinobi fight, regardless of any losses. Because a shinobi never shows emotion.'
"Until the enemy lowers the gate."
'At least until we win.'
Sasuke stared at the stone grave, willing himself not to cry. 'I wont show any weakness, Mikomi wouldn't have wanted that.' Sasuke looked once more at the grave then placed a single black rose on the soil at it's base. 'Good bye, Mikomi and happy birthday.' thought Sasuke. He turned and walked away.
Here lies Uchiha Mikomi.
A loyal friend.
Her ending wasn't the happiest
but she made all around her smile.
A wonderful Jounin that served her city well.
"We thrive in the chaos of the enemy tide,
Quiet shinobi don't need dens to hide,
Our only concern is to watch and wait
Until the enemy lowers the gate."
Hope is her name
and she smiles down at us from heaven.
