This is my treat to you, in honor of Halloween. It's a quick little drabble, and a Daikari. I decided I would write, against my gut. Oh well….its still pretty good. I decided I would use the Japanese names for this one (seeing as they're mentioned only once.) Please remember that the DD live in JAPAN!! And, according to my fic, they aren't very well-versed in the cultures of us Americans. (I apologize if any of my information is wrong. I pretty sure its all accurate, but I'm intitled to mistakes.) So, enjoy, and please review!

"So tell me, why exactly is Mimi spending the night outside, going to house to house?" She sat across from him, sipping her coffee.
"It's called Halloween. Americans dress up in costumes and go around asking for candy." He bit into his slice of pizza that a second before was lying on his plate.
"Why in costumes?"
"They usually try to scare the people who give them candy."
"Hence, the phrase, 'Trick or Treat?'"
"Hence the phrase 'Trick or Treat.'"
"But why would you scare the people giving you sweets?"
"I have no clue. But I sure do love the concept of free candy."
"As only you could." She shook her head, chuckling.
"Hey, who doesn't love candy?"
"Truthfully, I don't know. I still don't see the point of the costumes, though." She put her coffee down, and decided to pick up the apple that lay beside it.
"Why don't you just ask Mimi then?"
"Why don't you? Besides, I'm here with you, and that would be rude, wouldn't it?" She teased him, and reached her hand across the table.
Daisuke smiled, and reached out, interlocking his hand into hers.
"And that's why I'm so happy." Hikari raised her eyebrows, and withdrew her hand. Crossing her arms across her chest, she glared at him.
"But you still never answered my question."
