Tooth saw how her palace began to slowly disintegrate. "What's going on?", Jack asked her with a confused look on his face. "They...they don't believe in me anymore", she stuttered without a look to him. Her eyes just darted around the room. Only when Pitch began to speak she focused back on the fact that their greatest enemy was also there.

"Didn't they tell you, Jack?", he said "It's great being guardian, but there's a catch: If enough kids stop believing, everything your friends protect - wonder, hopes and dreams - it all goes away. And, little by little, so do they." With that he vanished and the guardians realized that Pitch and his Nightmares are kidnapping all of her fairies. Jack managed to safe one of them from a Nightmare horse, but the rest of them dissappeared without a chance to escape.

After a short time, Tooth once beautiful palace was empty, expect for the five guardians and the one little fairy. "I'm sorry about the fairies", Jack spoke, the sadness and guilt that he couldn't save more fairies clearly audible in his voice. "You should have seen them. They put up such a fight...", Tooth sighed. "Why would Pitch take the teeth?", he asked and Tooth was surprised how little he for his 300 years knew.

She lead him to a mural depicting her duties as the Tooth Fairy and told him about the memories of childhood that were inside the teeths. She felt sorry, when she heared that he didn't remembered his life and also a little bit more determined to bring back the teeth and safe her fairies to show him finally who he once was.

North and Bunny decided that it would be the best if they go and get some sleep before they were going to make a plan to win over Pitch. They went back to Norths base and everyone became their own room to sleep in. A while later Tooth lay on her bed. She thought about the teeth, her fairys and if they would be able to stop Pitch until she finally drifted into sleep.

In this night no golden sand appeared over her head... instead she became an unexpected visit in her dream.
