Daphne Greengrass was blown away as she walked in through the doors of the Great Hall on her first night at Hogwarts. All description any of her family had had did no justice to the grandeur of the school- no, the cathedral of magic where she would spend the majority of the next seven years.

It was at that moment, that she truly felt a sense of crushing modesty. The sheer size and scale of the Hall made her feel tiny and insignificant. Some of the greatest wizards to have graced the planet had once sat in this very hall.

The weight of expectation began to crush her as she began to panic on the inside; schooling her features so as to not give away the internal struggle. How could she possibly live up to the precedent set by these living legends? What if she turned out to be utter rubbish?

She let out a subtle calming breath.

Only time would tell, but for now, she would just enjoy the ride.
