"Was it really always Stefan, Katherine?" Damon pretended to not be focusing on Katherine, acting as if it was a simple passing by question. Katherine pulled a slight face, imitating a spoilt child.

"Jealous, are we?" She smiled at Damon, mocking him with every look. He rolled his eyes, continuing not to look at her. Katherine let out a sigh, and walked past Damon, her body almost moving in line with Damon. He spun her round, so he was now cradling her in his arms. He pulled her tighter, and leaned in to whisper in her ear.

"You're a selfish little bitch, you know that, don't you?" He whispered, taking extra care to hold her tightly to him. It felt good. The first real connection they'd had. There'd been the kiss when he thought she was Elena, but that one didn't count. Katherine grinned, trying to make Damon loosen his grip, but failing. She tilted her head back, and replied "Oh, Damon. If only that was all you thought about me." Her cool breath was brushing against Damon's neck, and Katherine was breathing in and out heavily. Only then did Damon loosen his grip.

"What else is there to say? You used me and my brother, you pretended you were dead, you only care about keeping yourself alive, and those are of the top of my head." Katherine struggled out of Damon's arms, and, for the first time in a while, looked him in the eyes.

"Stop pretending to hate me. We both know it's useless when you still want me." Katherine stopped the mocking voices, her tone deadly serious. Damon laughed, an uncertain laugh that even he knew couldn't fool Katherine. He started to speak, but instead got hushed by Katherine, who placed her finger on his lips, slowing caressing his face. Her lips melted down onto his, Katherine using her whole body force to make Damon not push away. But Damon didn't. He used the same amount of force for kissing Katherine, if not more. Katherine pushed her head back more, with Damon kissing her neck, softly at first, but then more violently. Their bodies pushed together in time, entwined together as one.
