Hey guys! So this is my first story, and I decided to do it on Bunk'd because I know so much about it. This will be a short one-shot on my perspective of what the characters' lives would be in the distant future, and what happens when they go back to Camp Kikiwaka for a visit. Also, I don't own Bunk'd or any of its characters.
"Mooommm do we have to go? I should be at Fashion Week in Berlin right now, but instead I'm on a four hour drive to some stupid camp," a frustrated Emily complained. "Besides, why couldn't you just let us take the limo?"
Emma looked in amusement at her husband Xander, fondly remembering her identical reaction when she was Emily's age.
"Emily, honey, you know I actually had the same reaction when I was your age. I was so upset that I wasn't in Milan for Fashion Week, but then again I wouldn't have met your dad. Everything will turn out fine, I promise. You'll make lots of friends and I'm sure Gladys and Hazel will make sure of that," Emma replied reassuringly.
Her husband joined the conversation. "Wow, I'm scared to see Gladys and Hazel after so long. I wonder if anything has changed."
Emma laughed. "That's doubtful. But I don't think Hazel will be very excited to see us, seeing as how she didn't RSVP to our wedding. I told you we shouldn't have even invited her!" Noticing the look of bewilderment on her daughter's young face, she decided to drop the topic. "Em everything will be alright. Trust me." She reached toward the backseat giving her daughter's hand a squeeze.
Emma and Xander slipped down memory lane as they neared Camp Kikiwaka. They were excited to see their friend Lou, who had also mentioned that she'd be dropping her son, Diego off.
Xander looked at his wife. "Oh sweetie, remember that one year when you snuck out of camp to The Spot on Counselors Night Off? My guitar wound up in the fire, but we got back together. And Hazel even ended up having to deal with the camper's foot fungus! That was one of the best nights ever."
"Yeah, I remember CNO. And we rushed back to camp to help Ravi supervise the campers and he had everything under control! Who would have thought tying knots and solving puzzles would entertain a bunch of campers?" She shared a laugh with her husband.
The last few minutes of the drive were spent recounting old memories from the past. And then finally, they reached camp.
Emily was frustrated, but the way her parents seemed so fond of the camp partially eased her nerves. She was even more comforted when she saw a familiar face. "Diego! Over here!" she waved to her friend.
"Lou! It's so good to see you!" Emma and Xander said in unison.
"It's good to see you guys too! Hey, but did you guys hear about that rumor about Gladys and Hazel?"
"Um, no. What rumor?" Emma said nervously.
"Well... They work at Camp Champion now."
So yeah, there's my first story. Hope you guys liked it! And sorry, I know it's a bit short, but at least it's a start. I'm not yet sure if I'll make a sequel to it, I'm not planning to. But I don't know, what do you guys think? I welcome any constructive criticism/feedback, as I'm still new to this. Thanks!
