Emi-chan: Haro, minna-san! I'm back. And I will be rewriting this fanfic!
Gon: Does that mean it would be different?
Emi-chan: Mhm... kinda I guess.
Killua: *scoffs* You're not even sure.
Emi-chan: Okay, okay. Shut up you brat *pouts*. Ah, anyways time for the disclaimer!
Gon & Killua: Emi does not own Hunter × Hunter, but she does own her characters (which doesn't include us)
Killua: You'll be able to tell.
*REMINDERS: This is an OC Fanfic, so there would be an OC for Gon, an OC for Killua and another for Kurapika, and whoever I want. They won't be the same person (since I don't like love triangles or squares, well whatever). There would also be cussing in the story, so if you're offended, I'm sorry. Anyways, despite these things, I hope you guys will still read this.
PROLOGUE
She felt so constricted. Lost.
She felt numerous things, and they just kept babbling above in her head. But it was probably better, that she thought. For silence alone was unbearable, what more if her thoughts stopped?
She'd be dead, that's what. Because, all she was able to do for all these 5 years of living was to keep everything up in her head, not bothering to speak up about it.
Although, what else could a five-year old girl do in a place like Meteor City? To die is a possible answer. But to survive is another.
Well, you can't survive without starvation at first. You can't survive when your guts are eating you out because your stomach's empty for one long week. A long damn week it was.
Therefore, she was possibly hungry. No, scratch that, she was starving. She was dumped into this place penniless, and with no necessities for survival. She would possibly die of starvation, which would contradict her grandpa's orders.
Starving isn't exactly the best way to die, in her opinion. And it was practically useless to think to herself in the dread of the night. But, the sounds that her stomach was making were pretty audible in her perspective. And she had to eat.
Thinking that it was probably hopeless, since everybody in that town was just like her, a man's voice interrupted her train of thoughts.
"Who are you?" He asked her.
And just like that, she raised her guard up, keeping in mind that she couldn't trust the people from that area. After all, a week of stay wasn't enough to get to know them.
"You aren't from around here, aren't you?" he continued to query as she stayed silent, deciding that it was best to not say a word.
He continued to observe her as his grey orbs pierced Ito her blue ones.
"Come," he broke the silence. "You should probably eat".
When hunger finally got the best of her, she accepted his offer, without thinking of the consequences. Well, screw it. She was starving and she needed food.

"So," he began nonchalantly. "You're saying that your grandfather, who adopted you as his grandchild, left you here. And you aren't allowed to go back 'till you find your aura or whatever that's called?".
"Yeah" she confirmed, taking another bite from that loaf of bread.
"He's basically told you to survive here too, didn't he?"
She looked at him for a short moment and nodded in agreement.
"Here in Meteor City, though, we have to make amends with each other. Let's start with the introductions," he said, "I'm Chrollo. Chrollo Lucilfer".
"I'm Yuminaka. They call me Yumi, though".
