Red: lights directing you where to adventure and where to land.
People walk. People talk. Joshua and Neku are lost in a sea of people who don't care they are there.
Joshua is sitting like a lighthouse on the concrete curb of the scramble; bright-eyes watching the flow of the people pass him on by. Neku's leaning on a Lamppost next to him, tut tutting because they have so many fatal errands to run.
Green: people come and go in an endless cycle of ocean greens and sea blues.
Neku hates taste of the sea. Hates it when Joshua is in one of his eclectic mood swings, mind green and water logged like largo at the bottom of the ocean.
"You know, Neku, these people are drowning in themselves," Vanity is fleeting. Joshua tilts his head to side and wishes he can push everyone overboard, just to see them all drown.
Yellow: stop you idiot sea monster cars gonna eat ya.
"Well, why don't you throw them a life vest?" arms crossed over a small chest, and body supported by the Lamppost, Neku is sardonic as he digs his chin deeper into the neck of his shirt. Below him, Joshua chuckles. A sound that reminds Neku of a beached mermaid's swan song.
Red: flow stops and you sailed right off the edge of the world.
"People need to learn how to swim," he whispers as he slowly picks himself off the ground, "I want to be the person who teaches them."
Giving Neku the back of his Pegaso shirt, Joshua slowly walks towards the 104 building; their next destination. He drowns himself in the sea of people.
Sighing, Neku picks himself off the Lamppost, and gets himself lost in stormy waters.
Green: world's created again and again and again.
