A/N: This fanfiction actually was my present for Chee Kionkitchee's birthday last year, and since she likes ShinoxKiba, I wrote one and it was my first fanfiction of them. I usually write SasuNaruSasu. It's a drabble.

Shino had tried many different methods whether it's direct or indirect. He has tried many MANY ways: treating, whispering, touching, hugging, saving, KISSING!—kinds of courting someone, yet... Failed.
Once again: FAILED.
He failed to court someone he likes. He failed to court his best friend. He failed to court his partner. He failed to court Inuzuka Kiba. HIS Kiba.
Possessive, isn't he? Claiming someone who doesn't even notice his feelings. Or should we call he was—IS—obsessed?
Poor Shino. Down he can but for Akamaru to pitied him and pat his head? Please. Where's his pride? A DOG took pity of him was... pathetic.
He just didn't know what to do anymore.
Shino have always liked Kiba. He likes him more than a best friend would. He loves him and wants to do 'some-some' to him. Nobody knows of that except for Akamaru. Yeah, Kiba's awesome dog. Why? Simple. Akamaru is a smart dog and understands its master and friends. Whatever. The point is Shino loves Kiba and wants him to at least recognize his feelings. However, Kiba is too stupid to understand.
That's why Shino now is sitting alone under a big tree to pity himself.
"Whatcha doin' here, Dude?"
Fate seemed to hate him to make his love of live came.
"Akamaru told me ya wanna talk. Wassup?"
And Akamaru's way to help him equals doom. Why is it happened, Kami-sama?
"Nothing. You won't understand anyway."
Kiba raised his eyebrows. "I'm not stupid, Bug-freak! Just tell me!"
Sighing, Shino leaned on the tree and asked.
"You know why I treated you to a fancy restaurant?"
"Coz it was my birthday and ya wanted to celebrate it with me and Akamaru."
Shino shook his head.
"And why I often whisper near your ear?"
"Uhm, coz I have a difficulty to hear ya clearly?"
Shino shook his head again.
"And for touching you outside the training?"
Kiba was confused. "Touching like pat my head and hold my hands? Friendship gestures, I guess."
Shino sighed dejectedly.
"What's for hugging then?"
"The same, right?"
"Saving you from Naruto's wrath for stealing his ramen?"
Kiba was annoyed. "You're my partner and that's your duty, Jerk!" Yet, he promised not to make a mess with Naruto anymore.
Shino stared at his clueless friend. Then, he sat up and started to walk.
"I kissed your lips once. What do you think of it?"
Kiba followed him with heated face. "Well, I was too noisy at that time and ya did that to shut me up!" He was embarrassed to remember that day.
And Shino though... THINKS that his crush is hopeless. But then, he decided to say the truth directly.
"Kiba,"
"Yea?"
"I'm in love with you." Then, he walked away without waiting for Kiba.
If only he waited, he would hear the latter whispered,
"I love you too."
Kami-sama, please help them.
