For our Country, For our Love
11th grade.
"I love him mom and I just don't know how to tell him."She whispered in her moms ear.
12th grade.
"I love you! I have since the day I layed eyes on you! You mean everything to me and I don't know what I would do if I lost you!" He yelled at her with tears flowing out of his eyes.
Graduation Day.
"I'm leaving to join the military."He whispered to her as they sat next to each other as everyone jumped and threw their caps in the air. They remained seated.
His Final Day with Her.
"Promise me that you will wait."He whispered in her ear as he looked at the bus waiting for him.
"I promise."She managed to choke out between her tears.
Bootcamp Graduation Day.
"Division 409."The announcer said.
She stood up and immediatly spotted him and felt the warm tears fall down her cheeks.
The Day He gets Deployed.
"I'm going overseas."He whispered in her ear.
"No." She said,"No. "
The Final Day.
He kissed her head and got down on one knee,"When I get back you will be mine. Marry me."
She nodded her head and bent down on her knees and hugged him.
While He is In Afghanistan.
"Dude look out!" One of his buddies yelled.
The bullet hit him right in the chest.
After he finally wakes up.
"I'm alive?"He asked as he looked around.
Their Wedding Day.
"I do." She smiled.
"I do."He smied.
After the Honeymoon.
"I'm pregnant." She smiled as she jumped into his arms.
"I'm so happy!"He said into her hair.
Again.
"I'm going back over."He cried to her.
"But the baby." She started.
"I know.
While over there...Again.
"Congratualtions, your now a daddy."His commander said as he looked at him.
"She had the baby?"He asked.
"Just 15 minutes ago."
While still in the hospital with the baby.
"He missed the birth." She whispered to her brother.
"But I'm here now."
Stay tuned for the journey of the two that struggle everday with being away from each other months at a time but work through all their problems. They never know if it's going to be the last time they get to say goodbye. Sometimes to do whats right you gotta fight for your country and fight for your love...
