The television in the precinct switched on, showing the local news. Detectives Ryan and Esposito looked up to watch it, avoiding each other as much as possible. The scene showed the bouncer aiming a punch at Esposito, causing the man to wince, a if remembering the incident. Ryan dove in front of him, therefore taking the blow, in order to protect his friend. ''I guess they didn't get their autographs.'' The presented joked just as Esposito switched it back off. ''You did that for me?'' He asked Ryan, gratitude and uncertainty in his eyes. ''Of course I did, I love you..'' He responded, clapping his best friend on the shoulder warmly. Javier Esposito smiled, also clapping Kevin Ryan on the back. ''Love you too mate.''
