"Good morning, Gira!"

Giratina turned to find a small boy beaming up at him. Lucas. That human's name was Lucas, he thought. A sweet boy, he is. He liked that boy better than the one that wandered around in here. Every week, he would come to check on Giratina, often bringing him gifts. What he enjoyed most was the stories he told.

Giratina loved the outside world. Everything seemed to be peaceful. Fresh, new, bright. Compared to the distortion world, it was basked in a warm light.

"Dawn baked us some cookies today! I tried to save some for you, but Barry went and ate a whole lot so..." Lucas reached in his bag to take out a small container. "This is all I've got for you."

They weren't much, only 3 pieces. They were adorable, though. Shaped into little cherry blossoms. It was obvious this Dawn girl put in a lot of effort in them. Giratina was happy Lucas had such nice friends in the outside world.

Sometimes he wished he could go out more often, and maybe visit Lucas and all his friends. It was much better than staying here and guarding that bad man.

"Here, try some!"

Giratina happily took the cookie in his mouth, almost cooing in happiness when it melted in his mouth. They were delicious!

"Glad you liked them! I'll bring some over next time she makes more"

Lucas started packing his things, and Giratina suddenly felt his heart drop. Was it time for him to go already?

"Don't be sad, Gira... I'll be back next week!"

Oh, that's right. He always returns the week after. He could wait until then, right? Giratina was a very patient pokemon.

Letting out a small roar, he hugged Lucas with his tentacles and quickly let him go. But not before giving him a small, grateful lick to his cheek.
