A simple word
Summary: All it takes is a simple word: "Okaeri". Another SasuSaku!.
Sasuke P.O.V
I met 'her' at the playground when I was around 7. 'She' was playing at the swing with her friend. 'She' was laughing happily and when 'she' saw me, 'she' blushed. Then 'she' walk to me. "I'm Sakura Haruno. Nice to meet you!" She said in a happy tone. "I'm Sasuke Uchiha." I answer.
I ook at her stunning pink-hair and then, her emerald orbs.
"I know." She reply. We become friends since then. But, we never talk much since my brother, 'Itachi Uchiha' killed the rest of Uchiha clan. He want me to have my own revenge.
When I was 12, I was assign to be in the same group with Sakura. And not to forget, that dumb-ass, Naruto. Kakashi-sensei was our instructor. He's always late and he is keen to be seen with his orange book. 'Icha Icha Paradise'.
I tell Sakura about what really happen to my clan and she was shocked. Then, we enter the chuunin exam. I remember, that damn orochimaru gave me the cursed seal. After I open my eyes, I saw Sakura and thick-eyebrow get beaten up. I ask her; "Who did this, Sakura?"
I lose control of myself.
After that she hug me. I also notice that her hair is now short.
Soon, I get to know where Itachi is. I think I was good enough to beat him. But I was wrong. I lose badly. And I woke up in the hospital, with Sakura next to me. I also remember when I throw the apple that she bring for me. She was shocked.
Then I decided to go to orochimaru. To gain power. And she's waiting for me at the Konoha gate. She try to convince me to stay but I decline and before I knock her down, I say "Thank you".
4 years later, I return. She is there again. Waiting for me at the gate. Her hair has grown, her figure has changed, her face is no longer the childish face. She's grown to a beautiful woman. "Tadaima…" I said. Tears begin to pool in her eyes. She smile and reply; "Okaeri."
I declare my love to her on the 'Konoha Festival'. She wore the light green kimono that I bought for her. Then, she jog to the playground and I follow her from behind. She look like a goddess. After that, she sits on the swing and I stand behind her. "Remember this place?" She ask. "Yeah…" I reply.
"This is where I first met you. You were so cute at that time!" She continue as she giggle. Slowly, I push her and the swing goes forward. "Higher, Sasuke-kun" She said in a melodic tone. When the swing reached to me, I push it stronger. "This is great!" She commented. And when it goes backward, I hug her from behind. I bend slightly and rest my chin on her head.
"I love you" I uttered. "I love you too, Sasuke-kun…" She said as she lean on my chest. "You smell good…" She compliment me. I chuckle.
"Ne, Sasuke-kun… I want to go home. I think it's a bit late…" She tell me. "Okay" I muttered. "I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!" She said as she walk away. "Wait" I stopped her.
"Hmm?" She turn around and look at my face. "Let me send you home." I suggested as I take her small hand and I hold it tightly. She nodded.
This year, I was assign in a mission to the hidden-sand village. I return to Konoha today and there's only one thing in my mind. Sakura. I went to the playground and there she was. On the swing. I walk behind her slowly and I hug her. She was surprised. "Tadaima." I said. She smile as she recognize my voice. "Okaeri." She reply.
Tadaima: 'I'm home'
Okaeri: 'Welcome home'
