A whispered "No" escapes my lips as I wipe the last traces of a tear from my cheek.

It is September 15, 2006, and my History class is finishing United 93, sort of as a commemoration of the five-year anniversary of what has been dubbed "9/11."

In this part, right before United Flight 93 crashes, the frightened passengers are thrown about in the seats and aisles while a few of the men on board try to break into the cockpit and stop the 757's rapid decent.

With the aid of a steward's cart and their legs, the small group manages to, after successfully immobilizing two or three of the hijackers, break down the cockpit door.

However, hard as they might try, the men can not quite overpower the Al-Qaeda member flying—or rather, crashing—the plane, nor are they fast enough to stop the plane's nose-dive into a Pennsylvania field.

They do, however, manage to spare one of the targets in the Al-Qaeda's attack on America—the Capitol Building or the White House in Washington, D.C.

There were no survivors. The military learned of Flight 93's hijacking at 10:07 AM, four minutes after the vessel crashed.

Dedicated to those Americans who lost their lives in the hijackings of September 11, 2001, and to their families.
