Disclaimer: This is fanfiction, so I really doubt I need one of these.
AN: Okay, you guys might quirk an eyebrow at this story, because some very few things are different. 1) Gohan's older. 2) Gohan's more angry. 3) There's no saiyaman. 4) To make a long story short, Goku and Chi-chi have another child, little Gochi! Don't you think Son-Kun just NEEDS a little daughter? That's because this GV fic takes place in the dimension that I created in DBXLV, another one of my stories. If you really want to know why things are different, leave a review please! And please, please, don't leave flames. All flames will be put on future chapters and laughed at. :P Alright, to the fic! Don't laugh, because this is my first romance fic for fanfiction.net.... Constructive criticism would be much appreciated.

"Bookworm!" Videl called, making Gohan sigh; yet happily.
"Won't you ever call me by my name, jerk?" He laughed lightly as she came into view, oddly cheerful. He felt a little weak, but it was probably the flu or something. It had been going around lately anyway...
"What would be the fun in that? EVERYONE calls you Gohan," She said with a grin.
"Hm, I wonder why that is," He said, grinning back, ignoring the lack of oxygen he seemed to be getting, and simply took deeper breaths. "Maybe it's because it's my name,"
"Perhaps," She stated, turning to him, walking backwards out of the school with him. "Makes me wonder why everyone calls me Videl,"
"Now THAT one is a mystery,"
They both paused once out of the doorway of the college, when they both broke into laughter.
"Bookworm, you sure are something else," Videl finally said after a few moments of laughing. Now, to everyone else, it looked like they were simply talking. But to Sharpener, OH DEAR, did it look like something else!!!
"WHAT is he doing near Videl, MY Videl?!" He thought out loud, watching from afar. "This isn't going to happen, especially since he called me a... sissy!!!" He growled, determined to break them away from each other. Little did he know, the relationship that Gohan and Videl had was perfectly innocent. Our little Sharpener has a slightly overactive imagination. ï He turned tail and left, before he would see anything that would make him truly angry.
"Am I?" Gohan asked, subtly rubbing the area around his heart. "Something other than a bookworm, even though I haven't had to study in about... what, two months now?"
"That's because of all the studying you did at the beginning of the year, and an amazing memory," She groaned, taking no notice of his discomfort. "Me? I struggle to simply pass,"
"Really?" Gohan asked, truly surprised. "Maybe I could tutor you, it's really easy once you get past the awkward first stages of just beginning to learn it,"
"Hmmm," Videl thought about it. If he would have asked this two weeks ago, she would have laughed and shrugged off his offer. But there was something about him... His mischievous smile, random kindness, and complex emotions drew her near. "I don't see the harm in it," She said finally. "Meet me at my house at six, okay?"
"Sure thing, I'll be there!" He said and turned to leave. She watched him pick up a light jog and disappear into the crowd of the city. 'Whatever it is that makes you so interesting, Son Gohan... I'm going to find it out,' She thought to herself, a smirk coming to her face.
She wouldn't find out that night at six.
He would never get to make it.
"Oh man... I feel like crap..." Gohan moaned, fervently rubbing his heart. He didn't take note of how he was flying lower than normal today; he was so focused on his trembling hands. "This never happens to me..." He suddenly got chills, and it was easily eighty degrees out there. He didn't realize how low he was until he felt leaves brush against his face. Blinking, he raised his altitude, wondering how he could have gone lower without even noticing. "I must be really out of it today..." He murmured, and looked in the direction of his house, which he was coming upon. "Good, I can lay down now... Need to take a nap before I go over to Videl-"
His vision blurred drastically and his altitude took a sharp plummet. 'What the heck...?' He thought wearily, barley slowing down enough to land ten feet away from the house, and found that his entire body was shaking under the weight of himself. His skin was crawling, and he was sweating. 'But I feel so cold!' He exclaimed mentally, not sure if he could have said it out loud if he wanted to. Forcing himself to his feet, he staggering to the front door.
"Stupid......... moving......... doorknob........." He grunted as he attempted to open the door, but it took a few times to grab the handle. Finally, he pushed it open, and stumbled in. He could hear his mother cooking in the kitchen, but he couldn't smell it right, as if it was some foreign substance that he had never smelt before.
"What are you cooking?" He asked dumbly as he walked past the kitchen, Chi-Chi taking little note of how ill he sounded.
"Grilled fish, honey! Your favorite!" His mother chirped, preoccupied with her food. Goku was hovering over her shoulder, every once in awhile reaching over to take a bit of her food. She would smack him away, but Gohan didn't notice. He didn't even notice that he walked into a wall out of sheer deliriousness. It took him a moment to realize what he had done, and he was still clutching his heart. The pain seemed to double every second, and he knew something was wrong. Terribly wrong.
"I need to lie down..." Gohan moaned, catching the attention of his father. Goku watched as Gohan used the wall to prop himself up as he made his way slowly to his room. This made him grimace.
"Gohan, is there something wrong?" Goku asked. Gohan, in his doorway, looked back at his father, straining to keep his eyes open. "Chi- Chi..." Goku said lightly, attempting to get his wife's attention.
Gohan collapsed.
