Doctor Who: Beast of Time

The Doctor is kidnapped by the Cybermen and Amy and Rory are the only ones who can save him. But when an even more dangerous creature feeding on time itself is discovered on board the Cybership, their mission becomes even more deadly. Can they save the Doctor before time runs out?

Chapter 1

The Spaceship

The Doctor paced in the control room of the TARDIS. When he should be enjoying his vacation on the endless beaches of Space Florida with Amy, all he could do was think about the S.O.S. signal his ship had located. A tiny blip on the screen, but a blip could make all the difference in the universe. The more he thought about it, the more stressed he became, pacing faster and faster until the TARDIS doors smashed open with a bang and he practically tripped over himself. "Doing some deep thinking, eh, Doctor?" Amy asked with a smile which quickly changed to a pouty face. She crossed her arms. "Come on, stop being all grumpy and have a look at this!" she skipped back outside. The Doctor, following reluctantly, stepped out and stood beside her with his hands in his pockets as they stared out over the never-ending sea as the sun set with a fabulous display of pink then changing to orange, red, and purple until it disappeared below the horizon. He glanced at Amy and said, "Now I have something to show you." His face turned solemn again as he led her back inside the TARDIS. "Is there something wrong, Doctor?" she inquired. "Not at all." He swiftly turned to face her, swept his arms wide open, pointed to the blip and cried, "I've just found a Time Lord ship!"
