A fun family day out turned sour as Melinda disappears from everyone's sight forever...
It was a normal sunny day in the Golden Gate Park. Leo, Piper, Phoebe and Paige were sitting on a picnic blanket. Phoebe was holding her newborn baby daughter Patty. Close by was Coop, pushing four year old Penny on a tire swing. Henry was playing soccer with ten year old Wyatt, nine year old Chris, and five year old Henry Jr. Six year olds Melinda, Prue and the Mitchell Twins Tamora and Kat were running around and laughing, playfully throwing a ball to each other. More than often the ball would end up in the soccer game, but always thrown back.
No one remembers who throw the ball into the brushes. But if the ball had landed somewhere else Melinda would be here today. Melinda ran laughing into the brushes to get her pink ball when she heard a sound. A happy tune played by an ice-cream truck.
It started to rain. Melinda heard her parents, Piper and Leo call for her. She also saw a little girl about her cousin Penny's age walk over to the ice-cream truck. The girl looked up and was then sucked up into the ice-cream truck. Melinda dropped her ball and ran over to the ice-cream truck. Her only thoughts were maybe it was a demon and if that girl was hurt. Melinda reached the ice-cream truck only to be sucked inside.
When inside Melinda found she was in a playground. She looked around her but she couldn't find the girl anywhere. Melinda called out for her mom and her dad, but no one came. Melinda started it to cry when the Nothing sucked her up.
At that was the last time anyone saw Melinda.
All her parents found were that little pink ball. No body, no funeral. As that was the last time anyone saw Melinda. Piper and Leo never took Wyatt and Chris to the park again. They still hand out posters, with her picture on it, asking if anyone was has seen her.
But no one has. Because that was the last time anyone saw Melinda.
