The beginning
Gods are the personifications of the very essences involved in supporting human life.
The First people to discover this was a nations commonly known as the Greeks. They
named these entities, gave them personalities and eventually became human vessels.
A tool to interact with the very beings that acknowledged their existence. Little did
they know that was their biggest mistake. Within the human heart is the most sinister,
the most enchanting energy not even the gods could escape. This energy bound them
to the world. They became pawns of their own power, slaves at each others whim.
Bound to the bodies as a source of survival. Knowing this they used all the power they
could conjure into creating the most powerful indestructible vessels possible. They
succeeded only to be destroyed by one another. To increase there chance of survival
they fled to mount Olympus where there they stood until the fall of the Greek nation.
The Romans were the next to discover the secretes of human life, and again the cycle
continued only to change in the nature of the gods. This occurrence remains a mystery.
Currently the essence of one of the gods is at risk of destruction. If a new vessel isn't
found, if the entity is destroyed, civilization itself would end and with it the gods.
