Sherlock looked up with his sharp, blue eyes. Standing above him was a kind looking lady who he deduced to have no children due to her flawless appearance. "Hello deary, my name is Mrs Hudson and I will be you're new teacher" she reached her arm out to shake hands with the young boy, he kept his gaze fixed on the ground. Sherlock' s mum nudged him slightly, "so sorry Mrs Hudson, he is a rather shy boy." She lied. The curly haired boy furrowed his brows 'I am not shy, I just have no real interest in being here' he thought. Mrs Hudson nodded understanding the situation.
Once Sherlock had been convinced to go inside he was directed towards a short, blonde haired boy. "Right, I want everyone to stand up, say their name and give us a little fact about you." Said Mrs Hudson.
A short haired girl stood up rather confidently. She placed her hands on her hips and spoke with rich tones "I'm Irene and I like...boys." she smirked and subtly winked at the young boy next to her. Mrs Hudson was rather taken aback as they were all around 6-7 years old, how could she be interested in the opposite gender already?! The teacher directed her attention to the child sitting next to Irene. He stood up slowly with a crooked smile, a rather menacing one. He had a surprisingly soft Irish accent "hello, my name's Jim, I'm interested in..." he paused for suspense "murder!" The whole class froze staring at him his friend rose from his seat and claimed to be called 'Sebastian'. All while this was going on sherlock had zoned out completely, he didn't care about other people's interests. The curly haired boy felt the table vibrate as a shy girl clutching a few books to her chest stood up from his table. "H..h..Hello." she stammered, her face went beetroot red "my name is Molly...Molly Hooper." She looked at the wall not wanting to look any of the peculiar strangers and in the eye "I like...cats." Molly sat down as fast as a lighting bolt, glad to get out of the limelight. The sandy haired boy next to Sherlock stayed sitting, he was wearing a blue cast and was currently on crutches. He smiled widely "my name is John and I love learning about the army...Oh and doctors!" Mrs Hudson chuckled at the sweetness of John's words. It was now Sherlock's turn to state his name so he sighed and scanned the room cautiously then rose from his uncomfortable plastic chair. "My name is Sherlock Holmes, I already know your abilities and intellectual strengths just by looking at you, I have no intention to learn or interact with others. I would rather be at home, playing pirates." He heard faint whispers from a girl's voice he recognised well, Sally Donavon. "That boy went to my playgroup, he's an absolute freak." She exclaimed whilst standing up with another boy "my name's Sally and this is my brother Greg. We would both like to join the police force." She stated with a rather bad attitude. Mrs Hudson walked up to the whiteboard to start the lesson.
She definitely had an interesting class this year.
