A/N: Here's my attempt at a Lucissa story that isn't particularly romantic but a little bit fluffy. You don't gotta have romance just to have a pairing lol. In this fic, we see Lucius and Narcissa picking out baby names. RxR. FxF. I do not own Harry Potter.

The afternoon found Lucius and Narcissa sitting in the front room of their large home hunched together on the small couch. Lucius had surprised her with his eagerness this morning to finally make the 'big' decision and Narcissa happily agreed. They had probably put it off long enough already and her mother was constantly asking her questions.
She looked outside the room's large window at her vividly coloured garden, and the willow tree swaying softly in the breeze. It was springtime now and Narcissa loved this time of year. Everything seemed brighter than the sun itself, and the air always smelled of lavender and gardenias. It just made her feel like spinning all the time.
There was a soft kick within her belly. Maybe she wasn't in the best state to be spinning right now.
"We are not naming our son 'Juniper'!" Lucius roared as he stood up from the couch suddenly, the book of baby names flying off his lap and landing on the ground with a flutter of pages.
Flustered, Narcissa picked up the book from the floor before smoothing out the crumpled sheets. "Why not? It sounds like 'Jupiter' and it's-"
"It's a flower! I won't have my son named after a flower!" he shouted.
Narcissa pouted and flipped through the book again, "How about 'Narcissus'?"
Lucius smirked, "Then you'd be really narcissistic, Narcissa."
She gave him a wild grin and then said, "Maybe that would be a bit much. How about something more boyish, like 'Basil'?"
Lucius shook his head, "No, too simple. I want a name that commands respect, that which is worthy of a Malfoy."
She rolled her eyes at her husband's overly dramatic antics as Lucius began pacing by the window. He loved his name just a little too much. She looked through the book but found no other name she liked.
Narcissa picked up a nearby astronomy book and scanned its pages, "How about we stray away from plants and go to constellations and stars like the rest of my family. 'Orion' the hunter? 'Regulus', the heart of the lion?"
Lucius looked pensive, "Maybe, but I don't want a name that's already been used in your family. Our son is one of a kind, not a follower."
"'Scorpio' who slew Orion?" Narcissa suggested.
"Perhaps. Venomous, deadly, but you could squish a scorpion," Lucius said.
"'Leo' the lion?"
Lucius drawled and looked at her with dead eyes, "My son is not a Gryffindor."
"'Draco' the dragon?"
Lucius stopped in his tracks and then ran up to her. "That sounds strong and powerful! A large, fire-breathing dragon. Everyone will quake in fear when they hear the name 'Draco Lucius Malfoy'. Yes, Narcissa that's the one," Lucius said proudly as he walked from the room before she could say anymore.
Narcissa smiled to herself and rubbed her stomach, the baby boy nestled safe inside. She whispered to him, "Maybe I shouldn't tell him that though vicious and terrifying, Draco was eventually killed in almost every story."
