The Life of a Seventh Grader

By: Alyssa Alforque

Chapter 1: Introduction

Hi! I'm Addison, but you can call me Addi. I'm a seventh grader here at General Fish School.
I live in a world of drama, love, and war. Of course, I have never been a part of it, I think? Well, thats me, the confusing/confused, food loving, weird acting Addi! You can imagine me as a girl wearing athlete shorts, a grey tank, and a black DC sweater because, thats just my style.

You see, I moved into this school in gr. 4 because I already graduated from an annex. Just because I've only been here for a few years doesn't mean I don't know that many people. I have plenty of great friends here at General Fish. Some supportive, some not but, I love them all anyways! Maybe I should introduce you to a few. Ill start with my closest friends and move on into groups here at General Fish.

Okay, this is my BESTEST friend, in the whole dang world, she's been through my ups and my downs, I wouldn't be able to live without her. This special girl goes by the name of Bernadette. She pretty, REAL FUNNY! Smart , supportive, and everything you would expect from a true best friend. You can call her "Ber."

Second bestie, Eileen, Eileen and I have been best friends since gr. K, she lives upstairs from me. Sometimes I call her my personal stalker, but she doesn't mind when I call her that, she actually agrees. The sad part is she's gone to the Philippines for a MONTH! So you wont be hearing much about her.

Third, Rosie, Rosie is an energetic, out going girl, she loves hanging with friends and all that stuff. Even though she can be a little restless , she is still a great girl that you can count on. Rosie has a boyfriend, Oh my lord, and that is ALL that Rosie can talk about . You can never get that guy out of her head, it annoys me sometimes. I'm happy for her, but really? Do I have to go through all of this?

Fourth, Anna, She is by far the MOST supportive, She's my partner for ALMOST everything. She is very calm and relaxing, she knows how to teach others to be like her, and I like it when she does that, because she's AWESOME!

Well, those are my 4 besties! Moving on to the groups...

Group 1, I like to call them "THE BOYS" . This group is made out of three boys, Samuel, Caelan , and Oscar. Samuel is kind of the "leader" of the group, and also Rosie's boyfriend. Caelan is the "new kid" he just came to General Fish this year. Oscar is kind of the "forever alone" type, he isn't always hanging out with the group, sometimes he's with other people. "THE BOYS" REALLY like playing sports especially soccer, They like flirting, a hella lot. I know that we're only in grade 7 but we are pretty matured. I cannot , I repeat CANNOT, count how many girls like them. My besties and I remind them almost every day that girls from gr. K-7 like them, but all they do is deny it. Of course, I don't like them. I like them as friends, but not "like like."

Group2, the "BULLIES." Ugh, people think that they are the most "popular kids in school" and all that, but really they're just big fat BULLIES! This group is made out of 2 people, Alex and Edward. Do you know who they pick on, You should feel bad for this girl! She has to go though insults and troubles everyday because of the "BULLIES" ruining her life. Yep, you guessed right. It's me!

Group3, The "BFF CLAN". This group is made out of 2 people, Kat and Addison M. (yeah, i have the same name as her) These two girls do everything together! They spend their lunch and recess minutes together, talk about the same things, share their secrets, if one joins a group the other one follows. I find these girls a little flirtacious. With the "BULLIES" and "THE BOYS." But, whatev. They do what they do right?
