"Aaah! Hisoka, come look at my flowers! They grew, they grew!"
Hisoka closed his book with a sigh when he heard that cheerful voice. What is Tsuzuki babbling on about now?
But all thoughts left him when he looked over at Tsuzuki, drenched in the incoming sunlight in the entrance to their garden, a big grin taking hold of his sweet mouth. Pure happiness radiated from him, rivaling the sun's bright rays. Those depthless lilac eyes of his twinkled and Hiroka knew that this was a moment he had to remember forever. He locked the sight away in his heart and walked over to Tsuzuki, who was standing proudly looking down at his flowers. Dandelions, snapdragons, lilacs, sunflowers and so much more grew healthy under Tsuzuki's tender care. The sunflowers had grown almost as tall as Hisoka himself and swayed gently in the summer breeze.
Hisoka stepped into the garden, inhaling the earthy and sweet scents enveloping him. The sky was blue and clear, and the sun was a burning orb of gold, taking one's breath away. He stood next to Tsuzuki, not quite touching him; he could smell a faint tinge of dirt on his skin and underneath the sweet, raw smell of Tsuzuki's sweat.
"Yeah, they did. Congratulations," Hisoka said, looking into Tsuzuki's smiling eyes.
"Thank you."
A web of silence spun over them, trapping in the garden, embraced by color and the sweet scent of summer. Hisoka leaned his head on Tsuzuki's shoulder and closed his eyes. When was the last time he had felt so free and happy?
"You know, Hisoka...they're for you."
Tsuzuki rested his cheek against Hisoka's forehead and kissed him softly. Their hands entwined and Hisoka smiled.
"Thank you...for everything."
They stood for awhile, not talking, not moving, just enjoying the easy companionship provided by swaying flowers and sunlight. They stood in a web of sunlight and love, and the world went on around them.

I have not written a Yami no Matsuei fanfic in a long time...I haven't even had time to reread the entire series! I will soon though! I am happy to be back!
Well, I am at home sick, and I should be working on my psychology dream project but this little fic popped into my head when I thought about this website, actually. XD I guess Hisoka and Tsuzuki were clamoring for my attention! It feels good to write them again! Also, I know that it is currently winter, but a summer fic seemed so nice and refreshing to write. It is sunny right now anyway. XD
Anyway, please enjoy this humble little summer sweetness fic about a wonderful couple!
