Luxord watched the contents of his cup swirl around.
"Hey, lonely?", someone asked from behind him
He turned his head slowly to see a man with spiky blonde hair and blue eyes.
He looked him up and down for a moment before asking, "Do you play cards?"
The man raised an eyebrow, but nodded.
"I'm Luxord.", Luxord offered
"Cloud.", said the other man, sitting down next to him.
Luxord whipped out a deck of cards and started to shuffle.
"Blackjack?", He asked
"Sure.", said Cloud
"Stakes?", Luxord asked
"Hm… If I win, you have to let have anything I want.", Cloud said
"And If I win?", Luxord asked
"Then you can ask for anything you want.", Cloud answered
Luxord shrugged, dealt the cards and waited.
After several rounds of blackjack, Cloud had given up $50.00, his watch, and his shoes.
Luxord, surprisingly, had lost one of his earrings, his gloves, and a pack of gum.
"The stakes aren't very high are they?", asked Cloud
"No.", Luxord agreed
Cloud sighed and picked up his cards.
"Stay.", He said wisely.
Luxord looked over his cards, and stayed as well.
Cloud won.
"So, what do you want?", Luxord asked
Cloud stood up, kissed Luxord briefly and started to walk away.
"I want to play cards again some time.", He said
Luxord put a hand to his lips and stared after him.
Damn, and here he'd thought losers didn't win.
