Disclaimer – I don't know about you guys, but I don't like getting sued so I'ma say this once: I do NOT own, nor will I ever own the HP universe…I just like to take the characters and turn them into my evil puppets of doom.
Thunderstorms
"S-Sirius?' Remus questioned as an added weight suddenly made its way onto his bed.
"Moony…you have got to come look at this, its amazing." Sirius sounded excited, like a child who had just discovered Honeydukes was opening a franchise next door.
"Padfoot, I'm trying to sleep" Remus groaned, turning his head into the pillow and trying to ignore Sirius's bouncing body shaking his bed.
"So? It won't hurt you to get up and look" Sirius poked him in the shoulder, hard.
"So, I'm too tired to get up and look at something. Show it to me at a decent hour, in other words when I get up in the morning." And with those final words Remus rolled over and pretending he had fallen asleep.
"It won't be here then…." Sirius whined as he got off the bed and sat on the window sill, gazing at the lightning.
"…You know, my mum, before she turned into the evil pureblood queen, used to always tell me the sweetest little stories. They'd put me right to sleep, and I used to think they were made up. But seeing this, they really are real."
"What were the stories about?" Remus asked, figuring since Sirius seemed determined to talk to him, despite his feigned unconscious state; he might as well listen to the over excited puppy.
"Thunderstorms. How the lightning moves around each other. If you just look at it, it looks like random patterns. But when you open your mind, you see it really is a story. You see that the lightning dances with each other, telling a tale," Sirius said as Remus got up and sat on the window sill with him. "You have to watch and listen to get every side of it. And this one has an interesting story…"
"What's it story Siri?" he whispered, coming over to watch the bright flashes of light out the window, his shoulder barely brushing the others.
"It wants to say something. More importantly tell something to a friend…but it's afraid of rejection. It doesn't want to be left alone. Its friend is important to it, and he wants the friend to stick by hi-it"
"What does it want to say?" Remus asked, noticing Sirius' slip-up.
"It's trying to say…I-I love you," Sirius whispered as he looked up at Remus with fearful eyes, unsure of what the werewolf was going to do.
"Uh-huh, let me have a look", Remus said blushing slightly at what Sirius said.
"You see that pair over there?" He asked pointing to some lightning flashes. "They have a message too…"
"What is it?" Sirius asked, even though he knew.
"I love you too" Remus breathed the last word as their lips met in a kiss so gentle and soft that it would be imprinted on his mind forever. That one kiss, their first kiss, held all of the feelings in it that needn't be said. At least not said with words…
A/N: Yay for fluffy goodness. This is really my first one-shot with these crazy pups…well first one-shot that's not a poem…and is fluffy…hope you guys enjoyed. One more thing, I want to just say 'thank you' to me wonderful editor, as without her…well this story would truly suck…well maybe not that bad…but it wouldn't be good… As always R&R please.
Until next Time
