The rain thundered hard against the castle walls, the dark clouds were thick and hung low in the sky.
Parvati ran across the grounds towards the castle, her hair was drenched and clinging to her equally wet clothes and skin. A little ahead of her was Blaise Zabini, hardly visible in the mist of rain.
Parvati's books slipped from her hands, she let out a shriek of surprise and then horror as mud splattered onto her robes. She bent down to retrieve the books, but another hand grabbed her wrist, stopping her.
"Let me get those for you."
Parvati smiled. "Thank you, Blaise."
Blaise returned with a smile of his own, he gathered up the wet and muddy books, slipping them inside his robes to prevent any more damage coming to them. He looked at Parvati, brushing her hair with his free hand. "Look at us, standing out in the rain like this. We're both going to get the flu."
Parvati let out a small laugh. "Then why are we still standing here?"
Blaise shrugged. "I'm enjoying the view."
With that, Blaise leaned in and kissed Parvati, his free hand came up behind her neck, holding her close. Parvati responded by slipping her tongue into Blaise's mouth, her own arms wrapped around his neck.
They had been secretly dating for nearly a month now; they snuck around the castle, stealing kisses and moments whenever they could. They knew they could be caught at any moment, but it was a high neither of them was willing to give up just yet.
Blaise took Parvati's hand and they ran towards the shelter of the castle before the rain could soak them any further.
