Hello everybody, my name is Deuce, I worked really hard on this chapter, so don't just criticize everything! One thing, Ash can use Aura in this, so he understands every Pokemon. Now, please note that this is my first story and I don't have someone to read over my work, so no Flames!

Chapter 1: A New Beginning
"Welcome to the Kalos region, home of many wonders!" is the first thing 17-year old Ash Ketchum heard when he disembarked the plane at Lumiose City. It was not a relaxing 16 hour flight, as many people would've thought.
"Well Buddy, where should we go first?" Ash asked Pikachu, his ever faithful Pokemon.
"Hey, you're the one who suggested we leave Pallet Town very quickly and not ever speak to them again, but sure ask me imbecile." Pikachu said, "Jeez, do you have to insult me?!" Ash almost yelled, while Pikachu snickered away, "Fine, we'll head to Vaniville town, I think it was? Ah, I don't know. As long as we don't go back…"
Flashback 3 weeks ago
"Pikachu, come on! We need to get back to Pallet, before the Spearow kill us!" Ash yelled.
"I am trying to fight here, but with you continuously yelling it is very hard!" Pikachu yelled back, before they were cornered against a cliffside.
"Why can we not ever have a good sense of direction? Okay, Pikachu use Quick Attack into a Volt Tackle!" Ash said.
Pikachu did as Ash told him, but got knocked away by the immense horde of Spearow surrounding them. Just then, a mysterious voice yelled,
"Electrivire, use Thunder!"
Shortly after that, Ash and Pikachu both collapsed from exhaustion.
