Disclaimer: I don't
own anything, certainly not these two.
A/N: I think real
people fiction can be creepy, but honestly I couldn't help myself.
These are two very short drabbles.
Earlier
Hands clasped, it's just another night, another award show but her palms are sweaty and his skin burns as their arms brush.
She's beautiful, it's impossible to deny and the air crackles when she is around. Their eyes meet and whisper a promise of lust, with a suggestion of intimacy he hopes no one notices.
When she looks at him eyes pierce his strength and he wants and needs and it has to stop and it means nothing but it's everything. Their arms graze once again and they are shoulder to shoulder, questions are being flung at them but it's so damn hard to think when she is soclose. He will burn under her touch and he will freeze her with his gaze and they will stay in this cycle forever.
She drops his hand as Ashley comes to stand between them and the moment passes, but he knows it will return, it always does.
Later
His eyes are the color of the sky on a spring day and he smells like Old Spice and fresh cut grass. He is a boy becoming a man and she is a girl who wants him like a woman, and she hopes it will never end.
They cannot touch, cannot date, and other people run their lives, but she not will stop. In this one moment he is hers to hold and to kiss and she can feel his heartbeat trip beneath her fingers and he belongs with her.
Hands fumble over buttons and zippers, bodies flushed with heat collide as sweat soaked skin slides together and this is what she wants.
Because this is Zac, and it is love and friendship and hope and need and there is a silent promise of forever. Even if it just one night, it is always, and Vanessa knows it is just the beginning.
