Sorry for being gone for so long, but- I'm back...

She scrutinized the nail she'd just driven into the wall, nodding firmly as she set the hammer next to the bucket and sponge lying on the ground next to her feet. She sighed to herself, setting her rump on the ground next to her tools, and glanced around the park. The sun shone down, and typically, would reflect off of the ink sprayed in whatever havoc the latest Turf War match had wreaked on the poor park's environment.
Screams echoed off of the concrete and steel leading away from the park, presumably coming from Urchin Underpass. Screams of victory, as well as wails of defeat surrounded her, making her cringe as she stood once more.
She bent over, reaching for her things, and plucked them off the ground. Her four arms swung idly as she walked towards the thoroughfare that led to Inkopolis. She sighed to herself once more as she took the detour, branching off from the main path, towards a mesh-grate, rusted by time and weather. Her only free hand lifted the grate, and she squeezed through, grunting as she fit her tall frame through the small space.
Practically crawling through a short hall, she exited the other side, setting her supplies near the mouth of the opening.
She shucked off her shoes, and leapt into a large comfy chair sitting in the far corner of the room. Sighing in bliss, she stared up at the dark ceiling- even as twilight set, screams of Inklings could still be heard, even in her own home. That was a bit of a design flaw, a lot of piping ran every which way below ground; which meant, there could be a match going on all the way over in Saltspray, and she'd be able to hear it.
'Blast ink, scrub the walls,' she thought, moaning 'blast ink, scrub the walls...'
She dozed off as she blocked out the shouting from outside. Subconsciously, the two tentacles that hung off of her head wrapped around her shoulders, as if comforting her as she nodded off.
A/N: Sorry for writing so little, this is just the prologue- the actual chapters will be longer, I promise.
