Chapter 1: Happy Birthday
This book is set approximately 15 years after the ending of Gossip Girl so everyone's kids are around 14-15 and going into their first year of high school. You might not like my pairings but its my opinion on how I wanted them to turn out. Please do not steal my story. I do not own Gossip Girl or their characters. Please enjoy. Ellie's P.O.V.
I'm not really sure when it started. Maybe when I was five or so. Like I said, I'm not really sure. The first time I can really remember was my 10th birthday party. The boys were playing some stupid game, while Kayla, Viviana, and I talked about Viviana's insane crush on my brother. (Viv is Uncle Dan and Aunt Vanessa's child, along with her brother, Christian, and Kayla is Uncle Nate and Aunt Serena's child, as well as her extremely annoying brother, Jayden. I have no idea how Henry put up with him. If you didn't already put in together, Henry is my brother and Jayden is his best friend. Anyway, let's get back to the party now that you're familiar with everyone.) Viv's crush is crazy because my brother is a huge player and I don't think he's gonna settle down anytime soon. My brother's latest "fling" is Georgina's devil spawn, Nayeli. She is the absolute worst but she's easy so my brother is obsessed with her. I continuosly try to tell Viviana that she could do so much better but everytime I so much as mention him with another girl, she flips out and starts crying. The funny thing is that everytime she does this, my brother comes to calm her down but he doesn't know why she's crying. If he knew, it would absolutely kill him. (He thinks of her as a sister because him and Christian are so close.) The same thing happened this time. She started crying and my brother whisked her away to calm her down.
The other two boys joined us, waiting for their friend to come back, and then Jayden asked me to help him with something in the backyard. I agreed so that Christian and Kayla could have time alone to "talk." Christian's had a crush on her for years but Kayla is oblivious to his devotion for her. Once outside, Jay told me to close my eyes and then, all of a sudden, his lips were on mine. "Happy birthday, Ellie."
