Guess who's on her way to see Kung Fu Panda 3 RIGHT NOW?! A theaters playing it downtown kinda where I live. It's a long drive but I convinced my mom to take me. Haha. Tomorrow I'm going to see it about three more times. If anyone who's seen it or about to see it wants to freak out with me, pm me. I'm gonna have so much to say. Oh, and this story's written pre-KFP3 cones out, obviously. Hopefully I got Tigress and Lei Lei's adorable relationship down.. Lets do this!
It had only been the second day in the panda village and Lei Lei's liking to Tigress had only increased. She followed the idolized Kung fu master's everywhere. When Tigress talked, Lei Lei talked too. And she was constantly carrying around her Tigress action figure and nearly every few seconds showed it off to the real thing. They were inseparable.
"An' then, Stripy Baby said, no, oh, no!" Lei Lei narrated, lifting her action figure up higher. "We must kung fu now!" The toddler swung the doll up before corrupting into giggles.
Tigress, who was holding Lei Lei up on her lap, chuckled as well. "Wow."
Lei Lei lifted the doll even higher, so Tigress would look at her. "She looks like you." The baby panda commented, as though the doll wasn't an exact replica of the kung fu master.
"Does she?" Tigress hummed with a light smile.
The toddler instantly nodded. "Yeah! Because she is you! Cuddles gave me her!"
"That was very nice of Cuddles, huh?" Tigress asked, to which Lei Lei nodded again over excitedly.
"Cuddles is nice, Stripy baby!"
The tiger master chuckled in amusement as she rubbed Lei Lei's head. The baby pushed her dolls leg up in a kicking motion and began to chant "HI-YAH," as loud as her voice could go.
Tigress watched as Lei Lei continued.
"HI-YAH! Hi-yah! HIYAH HIYAH HIYAH!" Lei Lei threw the doll up in the air, with the clear intention of catching her. However her small arms couldn't reach, and the doll was falling much to fast.
Using her quick reflexes, Tigress grabbed the replica of herself before it could touch the ground with the high possibility of breaking.
"Thank you, Stripy baby." Lei Lei hugged her toy. Tigress simply rubbed the baby panda's head. "Just be careful. You don't want her to break, after all."
The toddler nodded in agreement before sending some more punches and kicks with her doll, chanting "HI-YAH"; all well doing so.
"Stripy baby?" Lei Lei questioned aloud.
Tigress looked at her.
"Do you think someday you can teach me Kung fu? I wanna Kung fu like you!"
Tigress heart practically melted right then and there and she could feel her ears go down with a soft smile forming.
"Of course. All in time, little one."
Lei Lei instantly cheered.
