Notes: Just a small little blurp of a missing scene/post-ep for Conspiracy Theory Pt 1. I blame tweets from Still Lost in Translation and Kadi219 for putting this into my head. Enjoy!
"Alright, Buzz why don't you get your film equipment together and you can head over to the Tackles opening with Mike and Amy. Detective Nolan and Detective Paige you will be with the Lieutenant and myself. We'll regroup once we get there and figure out our plan of attack," Sharon tells the team as she stands at the white board. She catches Andy's brow furrow out of the corner of her eye after she doles out the assignments without including him, "Our main objective is going to be to have a little chat with Bonnie Pearl's ex-husband. Let's plan on leaving in ten minutes."
"Of course Commander," Provenza acknowledges before the group disperses to get ready to head to the event. Sharon steps into her office and grabs her badge and gun out of the top drawer of her desk, looking up as Andy steps in and shuts the door behind him.
"What would you like me to do?" Andy asks as he stands on the other side of her desk. It had taken him a while to figure out the best way for him to ask that question without getting a glare in return or a lecture at home about how his position within the team was changing because of his health issues. The first few times of asking why he wasn't being included went the worst.
"Hold down the fort. I don't expect we should be too long…" Sharon comments, "Depending on what happens at the restaurant we might be able to keep going tonight."
"Keep going? You're supposed to be taking it easy," Andy says with a slightly exasperated tone.
"If I had a dollar for every time you've told me I was supposed to be taking it easy the last week, I could retire very comfortably," Sharon tells him before bending down to grab a large gift bag off of the floor, holding it out to her husband, "Here, if you think you're going to be bored, work on this."
"What is it?"
"The thank you cards that you thought you got out of this morning," Sharon replies with a grin on her lips as she secures her gun before pressing a quick peck to his cheek, "Pen's in the bag all you need to do is sign."
"I married a witch," Andy grumbles as he looks at the bag full of cards already filled with Sharon's looping script.
"Well it's definitely not police work that keeps me looking young," Sharon tosses over her shoulder before going to meet Provenza and head down to the garage.
