Chapter one: Where did you go?
I begin my search for Jay. The police haven't found anything about his random disappearance, but I was. I didn't care if anyone stopped me: he was as close as my brother. I loved him. He loved me just the same. I am male, so is Jay. Our parents didn't mind if we were both together, as long as we were happy.
It started on the 15th May 2017.
"Jay!" I called. Suddenly, I feel warm, sturdy arms hugging me from behind. Warm fingers leave a tingling trail down my neck.
"Hey," he breathed. I turn around and stroke is chiselled face. A perfectly structured jawline came into my hazy view. Deep brown eyes smudged with red eye shadow and black eyeliner brung out the glimmer in Jay's eyes. Somehow, he got mistaken for the warlock Magnus Bane from Shadowhunters.
"Are you ready to go?" I asked, still in awe from Jay.
"Always ready, my magical being," I loved how Jay always had a new nickname for me everyday. I always called him my 'warlock'. He did seem magical most of the time.
We pack our bags and head down to Jay's red Volkswagen Beetle. We stuff our nececities into the car and plonk on the seats.
"Well,"I say,"that was extremely tiring.
"I know right?" Jay laughs along with me.
Suddenly, the key is turned and Jay Rams his foot on the accelerator.
"ooooofff!" I am lobbed forwards. Jay had the most crazy driving. I'm surprised he hasn't been arrested yet.
We arrive on time at the edge of the forest. We gather our tent and start pitching it up. Birdsong rings throughout the forest and a light trickling of water tops it off. What a lovely place.
"Hey, wanna go and ride that little boat over there?" Jay asked.
"Sure!" I smirked delightedly. For a second, Jay looks slightly sad, as if he's about to regret something. That look is overcome by a pleasant smile.
