I was sitting across from Rose in the library, under our window. We were trying to write an essay for charms class. I kept stealing glances at her. What she didn't know was that I was in love with her. She just saw me as a friend.

I took a quick glance at her; the sunlight brought out the red highlights in her auburn hair. She looked up and caught me looking at her. There was a light in her chocolate brown eyes. She gives me a smile that melts my heart. I smile back and turn to my essay.

We work in silence, neither one needs to sat anything. About ten minutes later, her boyfriend, Dustin Turner, comes in and sits next to her. He gave me a dirty look before Rose can see because no one can see why Rose is friends with me. I roll my eye at him.

He turns to Rose with his 'world winning smile.' "Rose, love are you done yet?" I didn't know if he knows, but no ones interrupt Rose when she is studying.

She finishes the sentence she is writing, before looking at Dustin. Her beautiful eyes turn dark. "No, I'll come and find you when I'm done." She turns back to her paper.

"But Rose…" Dustin didn't finish the sentence he was saying because Rose gave him a look that said, 'Leave or I'll kill you.' Dustin was out of the room before you could say homework.

She shakes her head. "Does no one know that I hate when people interrupts me." She said out loud. I didn't respond because I know not to say anything. We go back to work.

"I will always know you." I say under my breath.

A few days later, I was on my way to breakfast in the Great Hall, when I walked into a wall of people. I make my way up to the front to see Rose and Dustin standing in the middle of the circle.

Dustin was in the middle of a sentence when I started to listen. "…You do is study." I could see the tears in Rose's eyes. Where was her family? I looked around the whole circle and didn't see a redhead or a black hair person anywhere. "You never have time for me. I can't do this anymore. We're through." Dustin walked away.

I ran up to Rose and put an arm around her and led her away from the crowd. I took her to an empty classroom and let her cry on my shoulder.

When her cry die down, I gave her my handkerchief. To use. "Thank you, Scorpius. What would I do with out you?" Rose looked at me with her red eyes.

"You would be lost, Rose." I laugh softly, while trying not to put my heart in my eyes.

"Scorpius, what is wrong with me. I keep picking these jerks. All I want is to find my prince charming."

"You need someone who would make you their world. They would move heaven and earth for you. To show you how precious you are to them." I told her. If she only knew.

"Where do I find someone like that?" Rose asked me.

"You will know when you find him." I said. I just want her happy even if it's not with me. "Where hell is your family?"
