This is the sixth part of my VK confessions series. I don't really have much to say so.. Enjoy.
Yuuki followed the young child into the alleyway. When she turned the corner she realized that he had disappeared.
'Damn… And I don't even know how to get out of here..' thought Yuuki.
She walked into an old abandoned house, hoping to get to the roof to see if she could find her way out. She froze in fear when she felt something breathing on her neck. She screamed as someone's arms wrapped around her waist and she was dragged into a closet.
"Yuuki…Shush." said Shiki, clamping a hand over her mouth to quiet her screams.
"Shiki…." gasped Yuuki. "What are you doing?"
"Keeping you from being killed, that's what." said Shiki.
"What do you mean?" asked Yuuki, pulling away from Shiki and leaning against the wall.
"That little kid you followed is a level E vampire, Yuuki." said Shiki. "He was leading you to where he could drink you dry."
"Oh.." said Yuuki.
"Yeah." said Shiki. "You do realize how much danger you put yourself in?"
"I do now that you said something." said Yuuki pushing Shiki away from her.
"Yuuki…" said Shiki, pausing when he heard shuffling feet outside the closet.
"What?" whispered Yuuki when Shiki pressed a finger to his lips.
"They're here." said Shiki.
"Who are 'they'?" asked Yuuki.
"Well your little vampire kid has a family and they're hungry." said Shiki.
"Fuck.." said Yuuki, leaning her head against the closet wall.
"Either we fight our way out or..' said Shiki, trailing off.
"Or what?" asked Yuuki.
"Well.. I'd have to bite you and drink your blood in front of them." said Shiki, leaning against the wall next to Yuuki.
"Which is safer?" asked Yuuki.
"Well in your case, probably me biting you."
"What do you mean in my case?" asked Yuuki.
"Later… If we get out of here." said Shiki, moving in front of Yuuki.
"Okay." sighed Yuuki as Shiki tipped her head slightly to the side.
"You ready?" asked Shiki, nuzzling Yuuki's neck, placing his hand on the door knob.
"Ready as I'll ever be." said Yuuki.
Shiki bit down on Yuuki's neck, which caused her to gasp. Shiki's hands grabbed a hold of her shoulders and held her close as the door swung open.
When the other vampires saw them they hissed in anger and ran away. Shiki pulled back from Yuuki, licking the bite marks to make them close.
"Come on." said Shiki, grabbing Yuuki's hand and running from the building.
When they got out of the alleyway, Yuuki collapsed against Shiki.
"We made it." sighed Yuuki.
"Yes we did." said Shiki.
They walked back toward the school.
"Yuuki.. This is going to sound random but…" said Shiki, trailing off.
"But?" said Yuuki. "Just say it."
"Kaname might kill me for this but… I like you." said Shiki. "I've liked you since the first day I started at Cross Academy."
"Wow… Well Kaname will hate me as well." said Yuuki.
"Why's that?" asked Shiki.
"I like you too." said Yuuki.
Shiki tangled his hands in Yuuki's hair and backed her into a wall, before kissing her. When they broke the kiss Shiki took Yuuki's hand and led her to the Moon Dorm. They stopped under Kaname's window.
"Hey Kuran." said Shiki, getting Kaname's attention. "Guess what?"
"Hm?" They heard Kaname call as he stepped to the window.
"You failed." said Shiki before kissing Yuuki again.
Shiki and Yuuki took off running when Kaname jumped from his window and chased them.
Okay. That's the end of the sixth part. Um.. I was thinking for the next 6 just make them into one story, each couple as a different chapter. Let me know what you think.
