I help up an envelope in my hands, studying my name on the back, along with Mason's. The letter was from Justin, who usually just calls or emails. At first, I thought it could be a invitation to a wedding for him and Juliet. He said he had been thinking about proposing to her soon, and he was at first unsteady of telling me the news because I could "slip something out". I then wondered if Mason was thinking of doing the same to me, because we had been together for a year now, and were definitely going to stay that way. Carefully I ripped open the envelope and pulled out a white slip of paper. This was obviously a wedding invite.

So, this is where it starts. Justin has finally made a good decision to marry Juliet and hopefully have children, so I can be an aunt. Of course, I want kids of my own too.

"Mason!" I yelled to him from across the hall of our home. He quickly came to where I was in the dining room.

"Hey, love. What's that?"

I gave him the slip of paper, and he read it. He looked up at me, smiling. "So, three weeks. That seems a bit early to me."

"It's not," I replied. "I think it's a good amount of time."

I hugged him tightly for a short time, and then went up to our room. This was exciting to me, Justin and Juliet's marriage and all. I was still wondering when Mason would slip a ring on my finger, his smiling warm face staring back at me. I guess I still have to wait. Right now, I think it's a good time to find a dress.

*One week later*

"So," Harper said happily. "What should I go with, straps or no straps?" she was holding a fluffy strapless dress at the boutique we were at.

"Harper, it's not like prom or anything." I said to her.

She sighed. "I know, but I just wanna look nice for the wedding."

I laughed. "How's Zeke?"

"He's great. We found an apartment that has great payment. We're moving in next month." she smiled.

"Yeah, wonder how that'll turn out." I said.

"Hey, don't be so prissy. Zeke's a great guy, and i'm excited for the move. How are things with you and Mason doing?" she asked.

"Good." I replied.

"Just good? Nothing happening yet with the rings and proposing?" she half-jokingly said.

"No, but I know it'll happen soon enough." I said, happy.

The rest of the day, we were trying on the dresses that were nice-looking, and even ones that were almost unwearable to us.

*Wedding*

The day of the wedding came, and everyone was on their best behavior for this day. Even me, almost. I giggled a little when I saw Justin in his tux, and he asked if I can be a little more mature. Things were great with him and Juliet, of course. I hugged my mom and dad, who were so excited and happy for this day. When the time came for us to sit for the wedding, we found seats at the front. The song began to play, and I watched Juliet in a beautiful white wedding dress walk down the isle.

That's gonna be me someday, I thought.
