Kurt was upset.
His adopted sister was getting married,
And as her little brother, he felt protective.
He didn't know what to think of Gambit.
He disliked him for falling for Rogue,
And for making Rogue love him back.
Despite all her protests and complaints.
It also concerned him that Rogue loved Gambit so much.
He was afraid that Rogue's heart would someday be broken.
But he had to admit, Gambit took better care of Rogue than he did,
And he knew that Rogue loved Gambit with all of her heart.
He also knew that Gambit would do anything in the world for Rogue.
And Gambit was one of the only people able to make Rogue laugh and smile again.
So in the end…
Kurt had to admit…
If Rogue was happy…
He would try to forget the past…
And be happy for them too.
Because Rogue was his sister and her happiness came first.
