Good morning all! Time for not-so random fanfiction challenge NUMBER ONE!!!! Clonegirl did one of these a while back, and the lovely Fenris has oh-so-graciously given me permission to repost this in two other places so...
Alrighty you evil little beasties, here's the challenge. I'm sure I'm just one of many fangggg... Masquerade enthusiasts prowling the web for stories devoted to our favorite gender-bending baddie only to be disappointed that the virtual ocean has dried up and can be mistaken for a glass of salty tap water. Soooo, without further ado.
A. Write something lightly angsty. Nothing deep, dark, and brutal. (Bakugan technically targets younger audiences and not all of us older kids can take it either.) If you want to do that on your own time, that's fine by me. But I'm not endorsing it. Meh.
B. Write something funny. Insanity and hilarious of all sorts may abound, so long as its grammatically correct and easy to follow.
C. Write something serious. What ifs, whys, whens, and whos are all fair game. How Alice and Masquerade's relationship works isn't the only "serious" thing out there. What about their relationships with the other members of the cast? I'm not just talking about romance. There's a whole spectrum of human emotions besides love.
Heck, some of these could even go together. Have you ever wondered what Masquerade would feel like if he got Alice's body for a day? (Well, as a girl.) How about what he looks like under that mask? Think he's ever seen his own face? Hm? Come on, you guys can come up with something. *mentally begging*
My only requests are that you abide by the rules of this site and I'll express a strong desire to see sentences that make sense and to not have to decipher computer speak. Other than that, have at it. Do as you like. Please?
