Final Fantasy Tactics: Genji Troubles
It all happened when Ramza's party entered Limberry Castle. There was Marquis Elmdor, in the shiny red Genji equipment. Cady just KNEW she had to have it all! She was a Sagittarius after all... with Ramza's Yelling and Alicia's Threatening, she knew she could do this. Now, about those assassins... perhaps Agrias would know something.
Gretchen the Chemist came along as well. With her new gun, her Battle Skills would be essential. When Cady first entered the room and saw the Genji equipment, she gasped in surprise at such a marvelous set of equipment. She had to have it! There was nothing that was going to stop her, not even her own death (which was prevented by the Chantage).
Elmdor and his assassins just stood there, waiting for their chance to strike. Cady knew the Genji theft would be no easy task with those assassins there, so she asked Ramza to raise her Speed first. Agrias went on ahead to distract Celia and Lede while Cady waited for Elmdor to sneak down and use Muramasa. Luckily, Ramza only took damage and didn't receive any extra confusion or death sentence.
Gretchen just retreated to the back and tried her Speed Break. It would have been better if she could "Concentrate" better. An assassin managed to knock Ramza out, but then Alicia killed her and Gretchen used Phoenix Down. The assassin turned into the Ultima Demon only to be wiped out by a freshly-revived Ramza. The other assassin-demon was eliminated by Agrias. Elmdor was alone. He was already missing his Genji Shield. His Brave was zero. Cady now stole his Genji Gauntlet. Alicia broke his Speed. Ramza yelled. Cady then picked off the Masamune and Genji Helmet.
Everyone watched as Cady moved back forth trying to nab the armor. She was trying to recover her life with the Chantage. Suddenly, Cady jumped forward and kicked the Genji Armor. It easily slid off and Cady took it. Elmdor was mad. He blood-sucked Ramza. Ramza blood-sucked him back before Gretchen threw him a Holy Water. But it didn't matter... Cady was finished. She grabbed her Spell Edge and Morning Star and gave Elmdor the final blow.
As they went down to the underground cemetary, Orlandu decided to equip the Genji equipment. It would do until he found the legendary Gold Escutcheon.
