My mom pays no attention to me, I don't know my dad, and Carrie's moved away. I have no friends, no family, no life. There was nothing left for me here. I decided to move away. I'd go to England. It was supposed to be a nice place and I had enough money (college savings) to buy a ticket there & get an apartment. After that, who knows, but it couldn't be worse than the hell I'd been living recently...
Cabe POV
I just got out of the hospital. My fucking father's still alive... There's no way I can continue to live with him. He gets out of jail tomorrow and I need to be long gone by then, on the other side of the world... If I get all my money together, I think I can get to England and get an apartment there. I'll do whatever I need to, but that bastard better stay away...
