Just a short piece inspiring by the remembrance of what I'm certain is one of my favourite lines from the series so far.

"'Alan Tracy' Crazy or 'Should I worried' Crazy?"

"I'll let you decide that."

"Thunderbird One accelerate to nine G's."

Honestly, the immediate thought that struck him was the one e voiced.

"In an incline dive?" Surely Alan knew the dangers of that? Surely he couldn't have lost it? Unless of course, the younger ad a master plan which needed his death to occur. "Are you crazy?"

"Trust me, I've done this before." Of all the reassurances Alan could have given him, that was the one e hadn't wanted to hear. Yes, it told him it could work (Alan was a living, breathing example), but what it neglected to tell him was quite how it worked, nor whether it was even transferable to Thunderbird One from it's original origins. With that, Scott could have attempted the idea with some dwindling confidence. But Alan had to continue.

"Of course that was in space and I wasn't towing a jet plane, but-"

"FAB." The response was to cut of the 'but' side of the argument which could offer anything after the negative remembers of the difference in the situations. "I guess."

"Wait till you reach nine G." Taking instructions from Alan was not something he was used to. Rather, he was used to giving them from his vantage point and speedy arrival on the scene.

"Seven point five." Coming closer to crashing: Alan had to be thinking crazily. "Eight point two." Closer again: yes, almost certainly crazy. "Point six." Still falling nearer: was he going crazy to be following the idea? "Point eight." Extremely close to crashing: maybe he no longer cared if the idea was crazy.

"Nine G." At last.

Away, safe, airborne. And oh, what it was to be up here safely.

"Okay."

He was okay, Thunderbird One was relatively alright, and the jet was unscathed. So, Alan's excitement at his idea working, over Scott's relief that it did, could probably be forgiven.

"That was close."

"Whoo-hoo."

Though now he knew what the idea from before had been - at long last - he could make hid decision. This one could go down in the documents as 'Alan Tracy' Crazy.

Just something small I thought of, but I hope it was enjoyable all the same.

P.S. Can anyone find a t-shirt of that quote? Teobi and I think one is needed.
