PROLOGUE

More than eight months had passed since Aizen was imprisoned in the Maggots
Nest and that Ichigo Kurosaki lost his shinigami powers. For most of the
shinigami, this was a moment of peace and tranquility, marred only by
unexpected attacks of Hollows on the outskirts of Rukongai.

In the first division Genryusai Yamamoto was desperate to search the records
of the candidates for the captaincy of the third, fifth and ninth division.
Unfortunately he could not find them anywhere.

"I believe that my Lieutenant is bothered to take them to review it. He thinks
that I am a decrepit old man that can't do anything just because I have only one
arm" Soutaicho thought, annoyed.

Speaking of the devil, his lieutenant had entered to his office looking as
though he had seen a ghost.

"What Chojiro?" The Soutaicho said as politely as possible to
reassure his lieutenant.

"Well, I was reviewing the records of the candidates for the captaincy and when I was to open the last file it was blank and ..."

"What are you talking about Chojiro?" Soutaicho interrupted abruptly.

"And in the last page appeared this symbol or flower that I cannot find in
the archives of Seretei," said the frightened lieutenant, handing the file to the
Soutaicho.

When the Soutaicho saw the symbol he collapsed in his seat, and going through
his mind painful memories that he had to suppress to stop the concerns of his
lieutenant by a small scene that he did.

"Lieutenant I am fine, hand me the files and close the door." Soutaicho said,
sounding a little depressed.

"But Soutaicho, would be better to call Unohona Taicho" said his worried
lieutenant,handing him the records.

"That's an order! Close the door and get the missing files, Chojiro.

"Yes, Soutaicho" Chojiro said this getting out of the office.

When the Soutaicho stopped feeling the reiatsu of his lieutenant, he look in
more detail the symbol, which was the image of a flower that had long existed in
the real world, and was called for human souls "Amani, the flower of wishes."
Butfor him meant to fulfill a promise that he always wished that the time never
came to comply.

But sometimes fate plays crooked, and I only hope that you
forgave me because I must destroy your will to keep you alive and those who
you love and care, my little Abarai.

A silent tear fell from his face.
