A/N: This is a one-shot fic... please don't ask for more. I have a hard enough time finishing one shots, and I like to leave a little bit (ok, alot) up to your imagination. Also, Word is not working for my computer, so I did this in notebook, without spellcheck. I tried to proofread, but I apologize if I mispelled anything.

The song "Anywhere" is copyright of Evanescence, and Hermione and Draco are all J.K.'s. Enjoy the story!

"dear my love, haven't you wanted to be with me and, dear my love, haven't you longed to be free i can't keep pretending that i don't even know you and at sweet night you are my own take my hand..."

I can't stand all this secrecy. I can't take it anymore. I want to be able to run up to her in the Great Hall and give her a kiss. I want to be able to shout "I love you" at the top of my lungs instead of whispering it silently in the night. I want to be able to hold you when you cry, to dance with you when your happy, and just be with you all the time. Everything about you is beautiful.

Draco's eyes lifted from his journal. He scanned his room, making sure no one was there, then returned to the book. Yet another noise made him jump, and before he knew it, Hermione Granger opened his door and slid inside.

Hiding his journal, Draco ran to her and gave her a soft kiss. "I thought you were never coming," he murmered into her hair as he engulfed her in a hug.

"Why would I miss a night? It's the only time I get to see you." She replied, a smile playing at her lips.

Draco flopped back down in his chair, and Hermione sat on his lap. They sat there quietly, staring at eachother. Finially, Draco broke the silence, exclaiming:

"I just can't do this anymore. I'm never going to be able to see you as much as I want to. I don't know what I'll do when school starts again." Right now, Draco was hiding in an apartment in muggle London. Hermione had taken to apperating to his room at night, the only time when they could safely be together. She would stay there all night, and then apperate back to her parents house in the morning.

They enjoyed their time together, sometimes laughing over stupid muggle movies, sometimes crying about the events that had happened in their 6th year at Hogwarts, and always worrying about what would happen when September came. It was getting to the last days of August now, and since Draco couldn't go back to Hogwarts, they wouldn't be able to see eachother until Christmas.

"i have dreamt of a place for you and i no one knows who we are there all i want is to give my life only to you i've dreamt so long, i cannot dream anymore let's run away...i'll take you there"

A week later, with Hermione asleep in Draco's arms, he suddenly jumped up.

"I've got it!" he yelled. "What?" mumbled Hermione. "We're going to run away. We can go to America. We can go anywhere. Let's change our names, get married, and create a new life for ourselves."

"But... will it work?"

"I'll make it work. There are alot of wizards and witches in America. I'm sure they won't ask to many questions."

Draco lifted Hermione off of him, ran into the other room, ran back in, and knelt before her on the floor.

"Hermione Granger, would you marry me?" He then held out a beautiful ring. It was silver, set with two stones, a red and green one. The silver was twisted around so it entwined the red and green stones together. Hermione gasped.

Crying, she answered softly. "Yes."

Draco got up and sat down beside her. Taking her in his arms, he whispered in her ear "It doesn't matter where we go, as long as I'm with you, I'm always home."

"we're leaving here tonight there's no need to tell anyone they'd only hold us down so by the morning's light we'll be half way to anywhere where love is more than just your name

forget this life come with me don't look back, you're safe now unlock your heart drop your guard no one's left to stop you now"
