Hey, this is my first fanfic(I know, most people are rolling their eyes and clicking off this page, but please read and review please!) and I want to hear if you like it enough for me to continue!
What if Edward came back when Jake was avoiding her? What if he saw the true pain Bella felt?
EPOV
Rio De Janeiro Airport
I cannot take it anymore. I have to go back to Forks. More importantly, I have to see Bella. My life is horrible without her. Every day, every hour that passes seems to cause me more and more physical pain. I have to get on that plane.
Now boarding flight 2440, non-stop service to Seattle, Washington came over the intercom. I went up to the attendant at the door, who was obviously dazzled by me, as her thoughts ran through a thousand different scenarios of us together. Disgusted, I settled myself in for the long flight.
I ran all the way from the airport to Bella's house. I just could not wait to see her beautiful face, to hear her heart sing, to see the beautiful blush creep up her face. When I got nearer, my attuned hearing picked up a horrible screaming that was omitting from Bella's house. When I reached her window, the screams were unbearable. My heart more or less shattered upon hearing just the noise. When I popped the seal around the window and quietly slid it open, I could clearly hear what she was screaming.
" WAAAAAIIIIIT! NOOOOOOOO!!!! EDWARD!!!!! NOOOOOOOO--" and was broken off by a gurgled sob. Then she awoke, pressing her face into her pillow and her tears came harder. I was now sobbing quiet, tearless sobs in the corner, trying not to disturb her, yet wanting ever so badly to reach out and comfort her. Then I heard Charlie's thoughts in the other room, having being woken by the screams as well.
"My poor baby, waking up screaming every single night. I saw the look in her eyes after that fight she had with Jake a few nights ago. It's like she will never get over that awful boy who did this to her. Maybe..."
I cut Charlie off with that. I didn't want to hear anymore of the pain that I had caused Bella. Hearing her was enough to do me in. My eyes drifted back to Bella, who's heart was racing, still awake and breathing hard from her dream. Then she turned, saw me, and gasped.
