Moments past,
As the feeling fades,
The feeling of content,
Knowing that you would be there for me,
How stupid I was to believe that,
Cuz as soon as tears emerged from my eyes,
You were gone
So was the feeling of being safe,
To think I trusted you,
Believed that you were my friend,
Calmed my nerves,
By whispering sweet words in my ear,
Sweet words,
Soon turned into bitter curses,
Our friendship faded,
Soon enough we were biter rivals,
Our hate for each other grew,
One day you asked to be friends again,
I was stupid enough to agree,
But soon enough the same cycle began,
So we ended up rivals again,
I always had a weak spot for you,
But soon that weak spot was no more,
You grew too comfortable with the feeling
That I would be there to catch you if you fell,
That you never realized my warning,
When you lost your power
You crawled back to me,
Begged for forgiveness,
But I cast you away
Like you did to my feelings,
You were too blind to see all my warnings,
To see that I was fed up,
Maybe now that I've cast you away,
You'll open up your eyes,
You'll realize,
That I'm fed up with your consent complaining,
So crawl back under your rock,
Until you realize,
That power isn't everything,
When you do I'll be waiting with open arms.
