This is what I like to call a missing scene from the episode "The Girl in the Fridge", and because in reality Michael deserved this for his arrogant presence. Short but sweet :) Enjoy.

"Well it was nice to meet you Seeley Booth." The arrogance shined through one last time as Michael held his hand out to Booth. What Michael didn't seem to notice was Booth's jaw setting in a hard line; eyes narrowing.

"Yeah, you too. You know you might want to check that thing on your chin." Booth pointed out, getting ready to sucker punch him just as something went flying across his shoulder and hit Michael square in the jaw.

He looked stunned as he gazed over at Brennan, who gazed over at him and shrugged. " Hope your manible isn't broken." She paused, speaking coldly "Oh wait, I forgot that you don't like speaking medical speech, so tell me, why did I become an anthropologist and all, and you the world's most arrogant doctor?"

Booth's lips curled up in an "o" shaped smile. He looked almost pleased that he didn't have to do that himself. It was almost a stare down as Booth finally patted his shoulder with his own shrug, "Better luck next time...pal." then turned, bringing Brennan away from him. And when they had gotten to the elevators, just as the doors closed and they saw Michael still holding his jaw, Booth offered. "That's my girl."
