A/N: HELLO!! This is kind of a first chapter prologue thing... so it is really short. If I get any reviews I might try to continue this story. I'll also try to make the chapters longer… but no promises. When I write, I think they are long.. but they aren't when I type them. [ Anyway, onto the Chapter One prologue thing! LOL.
Chapter One
"What?!" Beth practically shouted it the office of 'Buzzline' News at her editor. "I'm being fired?!"
Her editor shrugged. "I'm sorry Beth. You're good and all, but we just need something..." She thought about what word to use. "New. You have three hours till the new girl comes. Hurry and clean off your desk." And with that, her editor turned around and left Beth in absolute shock.
"I'm sorry you have to leave…" A voice said from behind her. "I was just starting to get used to you snooping in my business."
Beth jump at the voice she was so used to hearing around her. "Mick!" She said happily, causing a faint smile to come across Mick St. John's face. "Don't think I'll be absolutely GONE from your business. I think it is quite… interesting." She smiled.
"Well, I'll never be able to see you again if you end up getting killed by your editor." He frowned. "I'd get cleaning up. See you around Beth." He said before he disappeared.
Beth sighed and started to move things from her desk.
A few hours later
"So this is Bzzwire?" A voce from and auburn haired lady said in an unsatisfactory tone. The woman sighed. "Oh well, I'll have to low for a while anyway." She said to herself as a sly smile crept across her face. She walked into the Buzzwire building.
Once she got to the door, she knocked. "Hello?" She asked quietly. When the door opened she recognized the woman immediately. She smiled. "You must be Sarah! You're the editor right?"
Sarah smiled. "Yes, I am. That must mean you are Audry Woods, the new field reporter."
Audry nodded.
"Well then, let me take you to your new desk to let you get set up." Sarah said excitedly.
"Thank you Sarah." Audry said absentmindedly scanning the crowded room at all the faces when her eyes landed at Mick. "I hope to get to meet everyone soon." She said, without taking her eyes off of Mick.
Okay, well, that's the first chapter! I hope it isn't TOO horrible. Constructive criticism is appreciated, but no flames please!
